January Favourites

This month I've been loving so many different beauty products which isn't really like me, I usually just kind of do my make up with the same products everyday and that's that. I decided though to invest a little bit more in make up, skincare and general bits to help me feel good about myself and I have found some products that I love which, I thought I'd share with you.

Bourjois City Radiance Foundation

I'm a real foundation yo-yoer, and I never really stick to just one. Some days I really want full coverage, and others I want a natural 'dewy' look, so because of this I usually have multiple foundations in my make up bag at one time.

At the beginning of the year I rediscovered my love for Bourjois foundation, and thought I'd have a shop around the new ones they had to offer. I picked up the City Radiance not knowing what to expect, but as you can tell, I love it.

I'm going through my natural foundation phase, so if you are looking for something that's going to provide coverage but illuminate your face this is definitely the right foundation for you. I have also found using a damp beauty blender has made my skin have a dewier lighter coverage, compared to when I was blending it in with a brush.

L'Oreal Sugar Smooth Scrub

As per usual I am late to hop onto the band wagon with these ones. After payday I thought I'd go on a little skincare splurge. There was an offer on 3 for 2 for L'Oreal products and I'd been wanting to try the clay masks for a while now. Whilst I was browsing the range I spotted the Sugar Scrub which immediately caught my attention when it promised more glowing and radiant skin ~ keeping along the natural dewy skin train.

It's safe to say after the first use I noticed a difference my skin felt softer, and genuinely brighter. It also did wonders for my lips which suffer in colder weather.

Primark Stick On Nails

Now a product I have DEFINITELY been raving about this month are the Primark Stick on Nails...

oh my

I usually get my nails done every month professionally costing me around £30 for a full set of gels and acrylics. Now I've vowed to myself this month that I'm going to start 'saving' money. In an attempt to save money I picked up a pack of these nails on the off chance, and well now I'm obsessed.

Considering they are priced between £1-£3 the nail glue lasts well, the occasional one falling off every now and then ~ meaning I always keep spare nail glue on me ~ but other than that I haven't had any problems with them. They also look really professional.

Working in retail means I'm often on the tills and so many people have complimented my nails and are shocked when I say they're only Primark. The best part as well is now they come in so many different styles and shapes.

Paul Costello Mini Handbag/Backpack

Another little addition to my bag collection this month was a Paul Costello Mini Backpack. I spotted this when browsing through TKmaxx and fell in love. I'd previously been loving my Superdry Tassel Bag (a Gucci dupe) but it had broke so I was looking for a replacement.

This bag fits everything in, with lots of little compartments and looks great as a handheld bag, or as a backpack, so what more could you want really.

What products did you love throughout January?

Thanks for reading,
